Technician & Consultant - Brass and Woodwind Specialist
I began my career as a Brass and Woodwind Technician over 30 years ago, spending my first 16 years learning all aspects of wind instrument repair at the bench. I then joined Yamaha UK as 'Brass and Woodwind Technical Manager' where I spent a further 13 years establishing a comprehensive UK Wind Instrument Workshop & Atelier. Working in R&D, I spent many years developing a variety of Wind Instruments for the European Market, through collaboration with many high profile Artists, Ateliers and Yamaha Japan.
To date I have trained and worked as a Wind Instrument Technician for over 30 years in Europe, Japan and the USA.
After travelling the world, in 2016 I decided to fulfil a lifelong desire to work and raise a family on the coast, therefore establishing my own studio workshop and retail business in the South West of England.
